This is High Energy Diffraction Microscopy Data of alpha-iron (ferrite). The data consists of two 3D microstructures: the same volume before and after annealing. The complete analysis of the data can be found in the following publication:

The data is in HDF5 file format and can be read by Dream.3D. Three version of the data are provided:
• The reconstructed data with voxels
• The reconstructed data with a surface mesh added
• The results of the grain growth simulation by threshold dynamics
