Grain Boundary Distribution plots and Images
Orientation map of the first layer, with reconstructed boundary segments overlaid, colored by orientation.
The reconstructed volume, 18.6 microns, by 19.8 microns, by 5.1 microns. The spacing between each section is 0.1 micron. Using a five degree threshold, there are 3,875 grains (minimum grain size equals 100 voxels).
Another view of the same reconstructed volume.
Grain boundary plane distribution, ignoring misorientation.
Grain boundary plane distribution, at 60 degrees around [111].
Grain boundary plane distribution, at 36.9 degrees around [100].
Grain boundary plane distribution, at 50.5 degrees around [110].
